We begin our extended weekend with a welcome reception from the retreat owner, and afterwards enjoy a meal together. Thursday evening concludes with an opening ceremony with intention setting and a grounding meditation.
Friday through Sunday we will move along a transformational journey with various workshops, yoga and meditation classes. There is ample time to make use of the included amenities of the private retreat center, which are listed below. You can begin every morning with meditation and/or an active Vinyasa flow yoga practice, followed by a filling breakfast. Mid mornings we will come together for group workshops and just before lunch enjoy a healing guided meditation.
In the afternoon, book a private mineral water soak, relax in the dry sauna or even dip in the refreshing spring water pool. Take a moment to reflect in the meditation hut, in a hammock by the creek, or after a hike with views of Mount Shasta. Before dinner, attend another healing workshop or relax deeply in a Restorative Yoga class with sound therapy. During the weekend you have the options to add to your self-care experience through supplementary healing and massage services at an additional rate, listed below.
Our retreat comes to a close on Monday. After a morning meditation, Vinyasa yoga practice and delicious breakfast, we will join together to close our sacred time at Mount Shasta and our transformational journey towards self-love.
LODGING & MEALS
Guests will stay four nights in double occupancy rooms within a large cabin set beside a mineral spring fed creek. The large dual pane windows of the cabin enhance the five lovely bedrooms and open to sounds of the creek in the spring and summer. The interior has gorgeous bird’s nest knotted pine paneling and soft wall to wall carpeting. Three full bathrooms comfortably serve all guests, and natural mineral water flows throughout the entire cabin.
Single occupancy lodging and tent camping is available upon request at a slightly different retreat cost. Please let us know if you are interested when registering for the retreat as there is limited availability for either of these options.
Guests are served dinner on Thursday, three meals on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and breakfast on Monday. All meals are vegetarian and healthfully prepared. Special requests are met for those with dietary allergies or restrictions. In addition to the nourishing meals provided, coffee and caffeinated and herbal tea, mid-afternoon refreshments, and yogic treats are also served throughout the extended weekend.

To complete registration and officially hold your place in the retreat, you must complete the online Registration form, submit your $75 non-refundable deposit, and print, sign and submit the Waiver.

ABOUT THE RETREAT LEADERS
Amanda C Correa
FOUNDER OF SPIRA, EXPERIENCED REGISTERED YOGA TEACHER, REGISTERED PRENATAL YOGA
Whether you are new to your yoga practice or have been practicing for years, with over 4,000 hours of teaching experience, Amanda will challenge you to find your edge, lovingly assist and adjust your alignment, and encourage you to unify your body and mind through breath.
Over the ten years since graduating from a 500 hour Hatha yoga teacher training, Amanda has completed three additional yoga teacher training courses - 200 hour Kundalini yoga, 85 hour Prenatal yoga, and 80 hour Restorative yoga - as well as 800 hours of continuing education in various subjects. Incrementally, she has studied and included a variety of yoga styles to her repertoire, including Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Hatha, Gentle, Restorative, Yin, and Yoga Nidra. She enjoys emphasizing how breath inspires movement, purifies the body and quiets the mind, and often she incorporates symphonic gong meditations into her classes, played in the style of the Kundalini yoga tradition.
In addition to teaching weekly classes at various studios in Northern California, Amanda also offers workshops, masterclasses, continuing education classes and yoga teacher training courses both locally and abroad. Amanda is grateful for the bounty of gifts given to her by the practice and lifestyle of yoga and is awed when hearing stories of transformation from others. Katie Z Robinson
OWNER OF TIMEZEYE, REIKI MASTER, MEDITATION TEACHER, REGISTERED YOGA TEACHER
Katie’s desire to understand the intricate workings of our body, mind and spirit led her to a year long intuitive energy healing course in her late 20’s. This program awakened a deeper passion for self-healing and exploration. In 2010, she advanced her training to the next level by becoming a Reiki Master teacher, furthering her education in breathwork, meditation, and intuition.
As Katie began to teach and inspire others to connect with their inner spirit, she continued her exploration and quest for knowledge. She enrolled in a Peace and Global studies program at a local community college and began exploring other aspects of our existence, including yoga. After a semester of diving into the various teachings of yoga, Katie realized she had found what she was looking for. Not only does yoga allow us to create an intimate relationship with our physical body, but it also encourages and supports our connection with our mind and spirit. Yoga facilitates the healing of our beliefs, allowing us to explore and transform both our inner and outer worlds. With this new understanding it became clear that Yoga was the path Katie had been on all along; she was home.
Through her own personal journey and relationship with yoga, Katie knows that some of the most important ways we can nourish ourselves is through breath, movement, and meditation. It is her mission to assist others in forming an intimate relationship with their body, mind and spirit. Using her training in both yoga and meditation, along with her intuitive gifts, Katie encourages and guides her students to their fullest potential.
